Christopher Armand- Owner/ Artistic Designer

Christopher's love for life is reflected in his creative ability to illuminate the beauty and sex appeal in others. Throughout his 17 years of industry experience, Christopher has earned a reputation for impeccable artistry and versatility. With clients ranging from all ages and walks of life, Christopher's warmth and ingenuous nature make him a life-long friend amongst his clientele.


A native of Michigan, having been born and raised in and around the Ann Arbor area, Christopher's passion was inspired by the juxtapose between the rough streets of Detroit that surrounded him and the stolen moments when the sun can make a woman's skin come alive with an angelic glow.


With 10 years working as a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell System Christopher's Clients and co-workers have had the change to learn from one of the most creative and invigorating educators in the industry

With dreams of becoming a fashion designer featured on the streets of Manhattan, Rushelle had a love of art for as long as she can remember.  However, Rushelle's dream of big city life was more of a fantasy than an actuality, so she decided to attend beauty school during her senior year of high school. This career kept her close to fashion, yet was realistic for the life she desired.

 

After graduation in 2000, Rushelle began working for Christopher Armand at Cheveux Salon, acquiring her techniques and methods of styling hair from him. 

 

Rushelle and Christopher married in 2006 and together opened Salon Rushelle.Together they teamed up and  created a unique salon experience by infusing traditional and modern techniques in a sleek setting.  

 

Rushelle's individual sense of style and creative viewpoints brings a fresh perspective and vision, all the while keeping our team focused on maintaining the values that Christopher and Rushelle have established here at Salon Rushelle.
